Late to the party in many ways, I have this week joined the exodus and made it onto BlueSky.
If you’ve already made it over there I’m at sarah-hartley.bsky.social - I look forward to hooking up there!
We’ve been flogging away on X for months @thenortherneco and personally for many, many years @foodiesarah but now, times up for Mr Musk! We won’t be posting to his cesspit.
This move won’t exactly rock the news industry with the same impact as The Guardian’s announcement but it will stop me having to hold my nose every time I want to share something!
I’ll leave the accounts there live as you never know - maybe somebody with a good heart will take it over one day and we can go back. Stranger things have happened after all.

This is the microblogging platform provided by our technology hosts Substack. I haven’t found it very lively and it’s rather US dominated but equally it’s pleasant and that’s a virtue!Facebook
I’ll continue to flag some extracts and share some items - especially on water pollution - on the old Facebook page.Occasional pictures when we’re out and about plus announcements for each new edition will continue to go here.
This has been the most disappointing experiment but I will continue to post here to keep things moving.
