There’s no excuse for anyone to wear fur, real or faux. It’s all got to go! ‘Fashion’ isn’t a reason to wreck poor old Mother Nature. 💚

I have seen two separate women wearing ankle length fur coats in Lytham over the last 4 weeks. Plus three different expensive prams which had real fur trim around the pram hood . The prams were in Preston , Lytham and Blackpool

It surprised me to be honest as the coats looked new not vintage plus as a disclaimer the ladies were British not European where fur is still used. The prams were pushed by young mums with that beige/ taupe/ grey yummy mummy New Balance trainers look so that kind of looked like an emerging trend !

About fur and faux fur : all points are mostly against faux fur. But animal based materials have a huge environmental impact : they are loaded with chemical products, they consume big quantity of water and no : it's not biodegradable. It's not even litter friendly due to all the chemical components they contain. On the other hand faux fur is made in waste diverted recycled fibers so they are more sustainable than animal fur. Let's not even mention that new or old a real fur coat is the fruit of factory farming.
