North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival from February 14 to March 2, has various events lined up, including star parties and talks by renowned space scientist Maggie Aderin-Pocock. The festival will coincide with a rare planetary alignment of Venus, Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune, enhancing the festival's stargazing events.

The Darlington Employers Environmental Partnership (DEEP) has announced its first Net Zero Marketplace Event will take place at the Dolphin Centre on Friday, February 21. Organisers are aiming for around 30 stalls, with businesses and other organisations showcasing energy-efficient products and initiatives. Details here.
